  • I have learned much from Antarctic Forum and made some friends through it. I am very happy to see the Chinese politicians, diplomats and other experts now paying attention on this topic. It is very meaningful and for sure it will go better.

  • The forum is a place to debate and explore. We are here exploring the possibility of internationalization and the future development of China as well as how Chinese people could get involved into the internationalization which I think is very good. The thoughts of the accomplished scholars and experts are illuminating and their brilliance renders the results an indubitable classic.

  • Antarctic Forum could extend the meaning of “pole” to a new central point of the world. “Pole” could also be explained as a hinge of world which led by emerging economies. Not only explore Antarctica geographically but also from the angle of world’s situation and China’s international strategy.

  • I would suggest everybody who is going to Antarctica bring a book about environment conservation or a book about Antarctic instead of Poke to kill time there. It is our chance to present our national demeanor as one of the world major powers

  • I think the topics of the forum could be more pure. There are topics related to economics, society, politics, culture in other forums but I still believe there is some ultimate value we should look into, just as religion gives palliative care to its follower: how do we live? Where are we going to afterlife? The forum should be able to provide the solution to human society of where we are heading to.

    Ye,Zhenzhen
Director of Editing Office of People’s Daily

  • Antarctic Treaty protects Antarctica from being occupied or predatory developed by any country such as whale hunting. That inspired us that Antarctic spirits could possibly promote the development of the whole human society if it is extended and applied to other area of our world.
